Louis Dolgoff, Director and Founder of the Beer for Brains Foundation, hands over the check for the proceeds from the first large-scale craft beer event at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona this past fall 2010.    The check presentation marks the culmination of a dream he and his wife, Laurie, shared.  The couple wanted to be sure they personally had a hand in creating new therapies for patients while also supporting research to end these deadly diseases.

When the Beer for Brains Foundation supports the Barrow Brain Tumor Research Center at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona each and every donation goes towards more therapeutic options and new hope for near-term innovations.    The Barrow Neurological Institute currently has one of the highest volumes of brain tumor patients in the world and is home to national and international leaders in neurosurgical oncology, neuro-oncology and radiation oncology.
